My MSN Hotmail Inbox Is Totally Empty!
It’s been quite a while since I’ve logged into my Hotmail account since I’ve already switched to Gmail. Late this evening, I need to reset my password in of the forums I frequently visit. I remember that my account for that forum is linked to my Hotmail account, so I hurriedly entered my credentials and waited for the results.

September 09, 2008: Microsoft Says Goodbye To Laser While Apple Rocks It Out
September 9, 2008 is definitely filled with events that will rock the tech world. These are the events to watch out today:
Today, Microsoft will reveal what they dubbed as a device that says goodbye to the laser technology. Since the annoucement was made over Microsoft’s Hardware website, it is quite evident that the product will involve something that influences our interaction with the computer.
Upon hearing such announcement, most were excited to know what it is, however, the suspense seems to have vanished when a Engadget reader spotted a mouse over at Amazon Germany. This device is rumored to utilize a blue-LED coupled with a wide-angle lens (diffuser perhaps?) and has the same logo from the teaser embossed on its front. Such scheme will enable this new mouse to work over surfaces that common optical mouse wouldn’t work, such as glass and uneven surfaces.
Another big event today would be the Let’s Rock event by Apple in Yerba Buena Center For The Art Theatre, San Francisco. What would you think would be announced at the event? New Ipod models? Price cut on the Iphone perhaps? I’m sure you are one with me in awaiting the results of these events. I just hope there will be new models of Macbooks that will be announced. Just wishing though.

Proven: Pirated Windows XP Will Blackout
I got a call from a colleague this morning asking me what to do since she found another friends’ Windows XP computer to have no icons on the desktop. Thinking it was only a case of misconfiguration on the desktop icons, I told her to simply select “show icons” and it would be fine after that. But neither doing that solved the problem, which lead me to suspect something is triggering it.

Flickering Pages In IE7 Under Vista Ultimate
I’m using Vista Ultimate for several months now without problems until this morning. While using Internet Explorer 7, I’ve noticed that some websites’ flicker, especially when the page comes loaded with flash advertisements. At first, it doesn’t really bother me, and I’ve thought that it was just an isolated case with the sites I’ve visit, but the problem became severe and it is very irritating, especially if you scroll the pages frequently. When the problem became worst, the flickering seems to sync with the way you scroll the pages. At this point in time, I’ve decided it’s now time to find a cure for this problem.

Microsoft Lets Users Try Out Vista Without Telling Them It Is Vista
What’s the first thing that comes into your mind when you hear the word “Vista”? For most people, Vista comes with such a tainted image that Microssoft has devised a way to let them test Vista and hear their comments about it but disguises it as the next Operating System after Vista.

I’m Starting To Like Windows Vista!
Windows XP was serving my computing needs fairly well and I have no complaints regarding it’s performance. Even with the availability of Windows Vista, Windows XP remains the standard Operating System being used in our corporate machines (even for newly rolled-out Dell computers). But one unfortunate incident happened to my home computer. It suddenly died on me. I have no choice but to buy a new set of motherboard, processor and memory. Basically, everything in my home PC was replaced.

Windows XP reaches end-of-sales
Technology doesn’t stand still, and so does Microsoft. This is the reason why Microsoft has announced that June 30, 2008 would be the last day that Windows XP would be available as a stand-alone product, paving the way for Vista to become Microsoft’s mainstream Operating System.
