I was about to reactivate my old Google Adwords account to promote affiliate products but became wary upon reading that there are recent incidents of Adwords accounts being hacked into, resulting in the creation of false ads and of course, false credit cards charges.

Google Chrome Browser: First Impressions

Upon reading what Google chrome would offer, I was one of those eagerly waiting to try it out; constantly searching and refreshing what seemed to be the first available download link for it. About an hour ago, Google has made the download link for Google Chrome live, and you could also see it advertised on Google homepage (not in country specific Google sites though, just on it’s main homepage). Linux and Mac users would have to wait for a while since the installer is only for Windows.

Searching For Google Chrome Download Link
Update: Google Chrome download link goes live at www.google.com/chrome
As one of those who are very anxious to try out Google Chrome web browser, I consistently tried my luck typing the keywords “google chrome download” and the search results pointed me to gears.google.com/chrome/?hl=en (still offline as of writing. clicking this will just redirect you to Google’s homepage). But some websites say that the said link will work depending on what country you are in.
Interestingly, Google Chrome searched under Microsoft’s Live Search doesn’t point to the new browser product at all.

Why Google Chrome Is Better Than IE
Google is set to release its own open source web browser on 09/02/2008 called Google Chrome. Learning from current web browser trends, Google Chrome will take a different approach on how traditional web browers were designed, avoiding pitfalls that plague today’s web browsers, such as uncontrolled memory leaks which tend to crash the entire browser even when only one tab is affected.
