Wordpress 2.6.1 Now Available

Barely after a month since I have posted that Wordpress 2.6 was available, Wordpress 2.6.1 has just been recently released. This time, over 60 bugs were fixed (I’ve counted the bugs, and as of this writing, there were 62 different bugs across different Wordpress versions that were fixed).

Never Miss A New Email With The Physical Gmail Notifier

I was searching for a way to modify the Gmail Notifier code to suit my needs, and my search has brought me over to Jamie Matthew’s site wherein he really re-engineered the Gmail notifier. Instead of the usual desktop application that watches over your Gmail account for new activity, his invention literally flashes a cube-like device to alert you that a new mail has arrived.

AMD Launches The 790GX Chipset

Barely a month since I have bought a Emaxx 780G-Pro motherboard, AMD today officially launches the 790GX chipset, along with a new SB750 south-bridge chip, adding RAID-5 capability from SB700 with the 790GX graphics core boosted from 500MHz to 700MHz.

Globe Telecoms Will Sell Iphone 3G For P48,899!!

Globe Telecoms has just released their Iphone 3G pricing scheme for both post and prepaid subscribers and all I can say is, I’m totally speechless. My goodness, Php41,889 for the 8GB version and Php48,899 for the 16GB version! This is approximately 1,245 US Dollars in value, way beyond what Apple has announced.
