Cellphone Popcorn Is A Hoax

A couple of days ago, I have received an email containing a link to a video wherein a group places unpopped kernels of popcorn in the table center, then around it they placed their cellphones. The mobile phones were so arranged so that the top part seems to concentrate or beam the signals directly to the popcorn kernels. They then call their mobile phone and once they ring, the popcorns popped up into the air. Seemingly convincing at first, but right after watching it you know there is a trick behind it. Now here’s a video explaining how it was possibly done, and I strongly believe such method were used in the video above.

We all know that cellphones emit microwaves but they are so low that we can actually place them near our ears without them cooking our brains out. So relax my friends, we now know that the cellphone popcorn video was made for just for entertainment.
