Brand New Iphone Got ‘Iphone Girl’ Photo Inside

The picture of a Chinese factory worker set as the default home screen photo of a brand new Iphone has created a buzz on the Internet after the owner posted his experience about it on the Macrumors forum. “It would appear that someone at the production line was having a bit of fun”, the customer was quoted saying.

The thread has generated much hype as people had varied reactions and some even worried about the fate of the girls’ job in the Iphone assembly line.

Proven: Pirated Windows XP Will Blackout

I got a call from a colleague this morning asking me what to do since she found another friends’ Windows XP computer to have no icons on the desktop. Thinking it was only a case of misconfiguration on the desktop icons, I told her to simply select “show icons” and it would be fine after that. But neither doing that solved the problem, which lead me to suspect something is triggering it.

False Iphone 3G Demand In Poland?

While the Apple Iphone 3G was such a big hit in the United States (and the rest of the world, probably) and people were seen in long queues and gave up large amounts of cash just to get them, in Poland, the reverse is true. People there are being paid to line up. Mobile operator Orange need to create a fake demand in order to drum up public interest for the Apple Iphone.

Flickering Pages In IE7 Under Vista Ultimate

I’m using Vista Ultimate for several months now without problems until this morning. While using Internet Explorer 7, I’ve noticed that some websites’ flicker, especially when the page comes loaded with flash advertisements. At first, it doesn’t really bother me, and I’ve thought that it was just an isolated case with the sites I’ve visit, but the problem became severe and it is very irritating, especially if you scroll the pages frequently. When the problem became worst, the flickering seems to sync with the way you scroll the pages. At this point in time, I’ve decided it’s now time to find a cure for this problem.

Wordpress 2.6.1 Now Available

Barely after a month since I have posted that Wordpress 2.6 was available, Wordpress 2.6.1 has just been recently released. This time, over 60 bugs were fixed (I’ve counted the bugs, and as of this writing, there were 62 different bugs across different Wordpress versions that were fixed).
