Adobe Reader 9 with Flash unveiled

For the first time, Portable Document Format (PDF) documents would be able to provide richer information and interactivity as Adobe Acrobat can now embed flash or shockwave content directly and users need not use a third-party software as the new version of Adobe Reader 9 finally embeds Flash functionality into this new PDF reader.

While Acrobat Reader 9 is free, content developers that need to embed flash or shockwave movies into PDF should purchase Acrobat 9 standard. CNET has a comprehensive review of said software.
