Nokia N95 disappoints early adopters?

April 19, 2007 · Filed Under Cell Phones, Technology

Nokia N95 is undoubtly the most anticipated cellular phone for 2007. Boasting new features such as built-in GPS and 5Megapixel cam, people are really eager to get their hands on the N95 when it hits the market.

This phenomenon has made the pre-release price of the N95 very unstable, as there was a time that the change in price was $200 in just a week alone.

Now that it is officially released here in the Philippines, the price tag has remained stable at $820 US.

So what are the user experiences with regards to the new Nokia N95? I have been reading various forums about this and in summary here are the most noted comments from users:

- Battery life is short

- Cheap plastic build.

- Slider is loose, no improvement over the Nokia N80. Users reported seeing light through the side when they open it.

- Low available memory after booting.

PROS:

- Takes sharp pictures.

- Excellent music playback quality.

yeah, I’ve noticed that my N95 has some sort of “light leak” on the slider. maybe I should have gotten a SE P1i instead
