Would UTube stand a chance with Youtube?
An article from Mashable.com states that Utube (a company that sells tubes, pipes and other machinery) has sued Youtube (video sharing site) for “using its name” and downtime caused by users searching for Youtube and landing in their website instead. UTube reported that such downtime is causing them to lose money.
This news has spread out in the open and I am pretty sure that most people (who is aware of Youtube.com) will go and visit Utube.com (for curiousity sake). This will increase the visit to the website UTube.com even more, and there have been reports across the web that UTube.com is still down due to excess traffic.
I really find the timing of this move be odd. Now that Youtube is now a part of Google?
