Google search results bug?

Today, I have queried Google for a particular search item. I’ve entered the search item then hit enter. As usual, Google displays lot of results. My particular Google query returned pages 1 to 8, as shown below:

All is well from pages 1 to 2, but as I clicked on result page 3, see what happens to the results:

 

Now it can be seen that the results page went down from 8 to 3.

Anyone has experienced the same?
